Feedback gevenI ordered a three-meat plate with ribs, brisket, and sausage. The sides were just okay, but the green beans and the coleslaw were fairly good. The brisket was mediocre at best—not terrible, but not great either. When I inquired about the brisket's preparation, it seemed like the staff didn't fully understand the difference. The ribs, however, were disappointing—some of the worst I've had in a long time. They were so dry that I had to pick off the good pieces and leave the rest on my plate. That's a real shame. Myron should be embarrassed that his name is associated with this BBQ. Overall, I rated it three stars because the brisket and sausage were acceptable, the staff was friendly, and they served Shiner Bock in chilled glasses.
When we arrived, only three tables were occupied, and it took an eternity for the young waiter to take our drink order. Once he did, he vanished for what felt like forever. When he finally returned with the drinks, I was told that the beer I had ordered wasn’t available, so I chose another, which took even longer to arrive. The two servers there that day lacked a sense of urgency or enthusiasm. My wife ordered the brisket and specifically requested it to be moist, but the young man seemed confused, which required explanation to ensure we received the right portions. We were served generous portions with some point cuts. The deviled eggs as an appetizer were quite good. I ordered a second beer, and again, the waiter disappeared for ages. I suspect he might be underage since it took so long for him to obtain someone else's beer. My wife went to the restroom and reported it was a mess; I found the same when I went later. The paper towel dispenser was empty, with a wet roll sitting on the donor, resembling something you might find at a gas station. The urinal was also in poor condition—I even took a picture of it. Everything seemed disorganized. The passage to the restrooms was cluttered with storage items, and on the way, I noticed that many of the beer taps were either empty or had cups on them, which might explain why they didn’t have my first choice of beer. I had great hopes for this place and even took several pictures to make my BBQ friends in Texas envious. Unfortunately, I had to report the exact opposite.
I first ordered about door dash and eating was amazing! I have the 3 meat plate with ribs, brisket and belly. my sides were green and makkaroni cheese. the meats were delicate and tasteful (the spicy on the black bodice was perfection.) the sides were also delicious! I will definitely order again!
Here two times in a week. brisket is the best I had, and I love trying bribe in the usa. the staff is super friendly and the beer is cold!
This place was awesome! Will definitely be back. Prices were good and the food was great. Got a full rack of baby back ribs, some brisket and pork belly, potato salad, and Mac n cheese. Mac n cheese and potato salad were pretty good, though not outstanding. Completed the meats well though. Brisket was fairly juicy and flavorful. Pork belly wasn’t bad, though I wouldn't get it again. Wasn't too dry, just didn't hit the spot. What did hit the spot was the $33 full rack of baby back ribs! It's a FULL rack and it's packed with flavor and juice. The seasonings reminded me a bit of charsiu, but that might be my mind playing games with me. Looked dry and felt dry as I was cutting into it, but bit into it and was juicy as hell. I'll be back! Just for the ribs and sides though.
