Rio Rojo Authentic Mexican Food

Would give 0 stars if I could. It took over an hour to get seated, order, eat and check out here. They only had a few other customers there when we arrived and they had already gotten their food so it?s not like they were very busy. The service wasslow and barely acceptable at best. Drink refills were only far and few in between. The queso was cold and very bland, alongwith everything else we had. Also, I don?t believe this place knows basic math seeing as afterwards our bill was $52 for 2shrimp chimichangas, 2 soft drinks, queso and na his bravos. We looked at the menu this morning and added up everything andadded estimated taxes and came up with $41. We normally eat at Los Portales for under $40 easily with quicker and better foodand service. Have been here about 4 separate times and have had the same outcome.

Carne asada street tacos were amazing and the salsa was just amazing. Rice was a little bland but probably a fluke.

Food was wonderful. Service was good. No complaints. Prices are reasonable. This is my second visit. Will definitely come again.????

It?s was ok. Well for the items we chose it was ok I should say. I had the Carne asada. The meat was awesome, everything thing else that came with it was just ok, nothing special. My wife had Shrimp Quesadilla said it was good but like me everything elseon the plate was just ok. The waitress forgot my Queso and my wife?s refried beans but she was quick to correct the mistake. TheQueso was not warmed up completely and still had cool chunks of unmelted cheese in it but again the waitress correct this forme. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean. A revisit is not out of the question but there are a few other restaurants mywife and I would like to try to see if maybe there is a better option.

The restaurant is clean and smells wonderful when you walk in. The service was friendly. The food was served hot, fresh and delicious!
