It is soft and flavoursome with a beautiful pastry on the exterior. You have to try one! The creme brûlée tarts are also incredible. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
Best coffee in Sydney. Great pies and sausage rolls (Especially the lamb sausage rolls), and their ginger brulee is amazing. I go back here regularly
Bourke Street Bakery is a popular bakery which is expanding to every suburb in Sydney. I visited their Alexandria outlet yesterday (and duly avoided their pork fennel roll) and tried their lemon custard and meringue tart. Both of them tasted great but their crusts are slightly harder than what I prefer.
Greatttt bakery! Got told about it from our Air bnb hosts that are just up the rd. Coffee was fantastic and the ham cheese crossiant was lovely. Tried a chocolate tart too. Not bad at all. Very nice vibe. Bread looks great too!!
I went to Bourke street bakery to get coffee today, because I've heard only positive reviews. However today's experience was a disappointed. I asked for a ice coffee, the waitress said ice coffees are in the fridge. I don't really want pre made coffee, so I asked if I can get normal latte with ice, to which she gave me attitude and kept saying "no we don't have ice, no we don't have ice! I understand some small cafes don't have ice, but maybe she could have addressed the issue in politer way, I mean you're in the hospitality game. Some people shouldn't be in customer service. ???? Ps average coffee.
