Glenroy Hotel - Alexandria

Had drinks here and dinner on a week night. doing covid safety requirements and tables well spaced apart. several different areas to sit, inside and outside. standard aussie pub meals, very good priced, plus a bit variety, if want to go healthy, includes vegetarian...option order them drinks and meals at the bar. popular with locals.

The dishes served here were better than most hotel bistros. the eating had some character and that was the differentiating factor from most aussie pubs. the service was good. we came to eat twice.

Incredibly friendly staff and atmosphere. they have a great new team, great simple yet humble quality eating and an incredible mood. it is an honest place. good quality patrons and never probleme. great quality beer always icy cold. I love this place mixed crowd...and has its own great personality. we met great people and welcomed many new friends. love it!

We always went to the glenroy. especially the mid-week because it is near our apartment. we were in there tonight and we were disappointed that tash (natasha? not worked. Instead, we were served by another, sub-standard girl (not remember her names, but she...has glasses on, which absolutely no idea how the bar had to work. our drinks took them terrible forever, as they are located directly on the corner. the beats tonight.

Stumble across this gem one day looking for something to eat, walked inside and was surprised at the kitchen and outdoor eating area. Menu full great pub classics, I had the chicken parmi it was great.
