The Star Inn - Alfriston

The Star Inn in Alfriston is the perfect spot to indulge in a classic Cream Tea, featuring traditional English black tea served with scones, clotted cream, and jam. It's absolutely delicious, although it costs around £18 for two servings, which isn’t exactly cheap. However, this establishment truly makes it worthwhile! Wow!

I advise against staying at this place if you are a person of color. I faced false accusations during my stay, which, after investigation, were proven untrue. Additionally, I experienced differential treatment compared to other guests. The food was overpriced and of very poor quality. Furthermore, the showers were frequently cold due to the distance from the boiler. I will never return.

Incredible establishment! It feels like you've been transported back to the Middle Ages.

We attended for a wedding. The place is beautiful and surprisingly spacious. We had a really good time and the staff were excellent.
