It was fast and easy to order, but I’d probably try a few other spots before coming back here. We tried the spicy noodle soup and the sizzling oil Biang-Biang. Both were flavorful but a tiny bit greasy. I would definitely want to try the classic cumin lamb next time but I wasn’t in the mood at the time. Overall decent place!
It is hard to believe they have such great authentic Chinese food, but rarely I see people step in to give it a try. Guys, as a person who lived in China for many years, I really love the taste of the food here.
This cozy noodle shop feels like home with its family-friendly vibe and lots of noodle choices. The flavors are delicious and remind you of Shanxi Province in China. The portions are big and satisfying, just like a comforting hometown meal. You'll find it on the busy main street in downtown Alhambra.
The flavor was good however the noodles weren't as chewy as I've had in other places. That was what I was really hoping for. It was average and I wouldn't go out of the way for this. The protein portion was better than I've had in other places. The restaurant is fairly deep and there is a lot space inside. The server was indifferent to us. I think I did most of the talking to order and I paid at the counter. There isn't street parking so we parked in a parking lot across the street.
Ketchup and soy sauce microwaved with a teaspoon of pork, it's bad food. The only good news is it's cheaper than most
