We arrived at the restaurant at 9:00pm, and they stopped serving meat and salad at 9:30pm. When we tried to pay with a $100 bill, they refused it, claiming it was fake. I was taken aback and had to ask my daughter to go home and get another form of payment from my friend. After using a different marker, they realized that all the bills were legitimate except the one they initially rejected. I had to apologize to my friend for doubting the authenticity of the money. Sadly, my daughter couldn't finish her meal, and I had to wake up my friend to explain the situation. Next time, I'll visit Shabu Shabu in the inner city of Alhambra instead.
