Unfortunately, although the place and menu looks exactly the same, the owners have since changed and the food is quite awful. We both ordered meals from the menu that we had 7 years ago because we enjoyed them so much. Mine was Cumberland sausages, mash, RBOG and peas. Absolutely awful this time. 7 years ago I was served three large plump, juicy butchers sausages that I struggled to finish. This time I got three tiny cheap commercial breakfast sausages that were tastless, overcooked and looked very unappealing. Previously, I was served a mound of creamy, buttery mashed potatoes, this time I got a small portion of lumpy grey mash. Last time I got a gravy boat of RBOG that was thick, rich, oniony and obviously home made. This time I got a boat of bog standard kitchen gravy. The fried onions were raw, not in the gravy but placed on top of the sausages. If I thought mine was bad, my wife 's was even worse. 7 years ago the Gammon steak was thick, juicy and top quality. This time it was as thin as a rasher of bacon and so overcooked it was almost impossible to cut or eat. It tasted awful. The dog had most of it. This was served with chips and salad which were acceptable, but not great. Having travelled up from Marbella for this lunch, we were so disappointed that immediately after the main course we had to leave without risking desert or coffee. As the title of this review states, 'Never Go Back '. We will not.
Nice little place, the roast dinner was a tiny child's portion, but tasted good regardless. nice staff and good wine.
Tables well spaced out, indoor festive lunch was catered for not too many people, felt safe inside the restaurant, welcoming staff, good service, food was very good, the deserts for our table were all home made too . Glad we have such welcoming place in our community, the owner Jackie is clearly focused on the wellbeing of her clientele.
Of the few locals in palm that still treat the Mallorcan cuisine as the center of your letter, no doubt good work and well presented, alberto and his team of
We went to eat. We take chrome from my mother, tumbet with fried eggs and pa amb oli with octopus. This last dish seemed expensive. all the food was rich, especially tumbet. The place is normal. in short, good place to eat local but a little expensive.
