Lemongrass - Alicante

We were looking for a light but healthy meal at a reasonable price that we could enjoy sitting outdoors on the esplanade on a lovely evening and this fit the bill on all counts. The food was served very quickly and did not disappoint at all. In fact we decided that day that we would eat there again before our holiday ended. Unfortunately we returned twice to do so and they were shut (on a Monday, and then on a Thursday, though we saw that it was opened later in the evening). Sad that we missed it, but hope to go there again on our return to Alicante.

This is a fast food restaurant. This is not a Thai restaurant and does not serve salads or regular Thai food. The chicken I ordered was not what was represented on the picture. The picture showed cubes of chicken in Thai sauce served with rice, what was served, was fried chicken wings with oyster sauce on the side. When I requested thai fish sauce, a red hot sauce was brought to the table.

We came here a couple of years ago and gave it top marks then. The standard was once again extremely satisfying. Pick from a preset menu or build your own combinations. Very reasonable prices as we considering its prime location. We worth a visit if you want a change from the obvious choices.

Nice about the QR code menus. Great location. Waitress was very nice Nice that we had chips at the beginning. My veggie meal with peanut sauce was great. Wasnt presented so well though. My partners sweet and sour noodle was loaded with sweet and sour sauce. Was inedible. It was sauce with noodles and not noodles with sauce. There was also lots of smoke in the restaurant from the kitchen as well twice throughout the time there. Vegan options weren't evident on menu... We needed to ask.
