A good place for Chinese is Alice Springs. Good range of meals. Fresh food with the options of dining in, takeout or delivery.

RubbishOrdered 5 various meals take away, all were unidentifiable yet identical in light brown colour and identical in absence of flavour.

This place was like stepping back in time. That was one of its many charms. Plastic table cloths to boot! Food was very good, proper old school Cantonese cooking. Worth a visit!

Staying Alice Springs i decided to try take out while here.Hong Kong Chinese is real good.I placed my order over the phone for delivery to my hotel.Delivery took around 1 hour which is reasonable.I ordered Chicken spring rolls 2 for $6.50, chicken satay sticks 2 for $6.50 & Sinapore noodles main serve $17.50 & standard $6.00 delivery fee.The spring rolls tasted good. The Satay sticks tasted nice & spicey. Singapore Noodles are good and plenty.Worth a visit too when in Alice Springs

Ordered home delivery via Menulog. Food was delivered within the hour as stated, however it was disappointing overall. The Pork Spring Rolls and Dim Sims were great, which is the only reason the food is rated as 2. Fried rice was average and all the main meals were very poor. Mongolian Beef was substantially just onions and sauce, with 4 - 5 pieces of beef scattered. Other dishes of similar quality. I would recommend Noodle Box for superior quality and value, although unfortunately they don't deliver. Won't be ordering from Hong Kong Restaurant again. Also takes them forever to answer the phone (was originally going to dine in).
