Kfc - Alice Springs

A group of about 30 of us visited this restaurant on the recommendation of our guide, Sue Gibbons. She was fantastic. We all enjoyed a delicious meal and had a great time with the owner, who even taught us some Australian songs.

This is just your typical McDonald's location. The staff is friendly. The restaurant has been remodeled and now appears cleaner, more spacious, and well-organized. They offer free wifi. The restaurant is open 24 hours, but after a certain time, only the drive-thru is available.

Just your typical KFC feed which was well recieved for hungry travellers on a budget. Got harrassed by a local in the carpark chasing a few bucks for grog but that happens in the territory.

Once in a while I indulge in KFC and this one tastes as good as the rest but on the grease level this wasn't too bad. Usually you have it dripping off your hands but a napkin was all that was needed.

Sometimes you have to keep the teen happy while travelling. He wanted KFC and he was happy with his meal. Our meal was quick, chips were straight out of the vat. The store was clean and the staff were pleasant.
