The Bean Tree Cafe - Alice Springs

The food isn't as upscale as the menu suggests. The 'bush tomato relish' was enjoyable but seemed to be only partially thawed. The 'rocket basil pesto' was difficult to taste, and the 'oven roasted smoked salmon' was just regular packaged smoked salmon served ice cold. However, it’s still a decent breakfast at a reasonable price, set in a lovely bush setting surrounded by trees and birds, and conveniently located within walking distance of the town center.

The Bean Tree offers delicious food in a stunning setting, located within the Olive Pink Botanical Gardens. Their extensive big breakfast options are priced at $17. The Chef's Special features two poached eggs, two generous slices of bacon, two pieces of toasted focaccia, along with mushrooms, tomatoes, feta, and a fantastic Bush Tomato relish. The coffee served here is also quite delightful.

This cafe is a top-notch coffee spot during the day, but at night, it magically transforms into a Thai restaurant. I’ll share photos of the menu, but I must mention that the chef went above and beyond to accommodate my specific vegetarian requests with an outstanding dish. The ambiance is lovely, nestled in the botanical garden on a warm evening. Thank you, Chef!

Great spot right in the Olive Pink botanic gardens. Food was excellent we had lunch and breakfast there and service was warm and friendly (albeit a little haphazard). Highly recommend the Bean Tree

So, I had a unicorn gaytime and a muslie bar before I came here, so I really wasn't up for breakfast. The rest of the crew order coffee and such and they seem pretty happy. I would eat here if I were to come back to alice
