It's worth noting that Matt and his team are new owners and have been running the restaurant for less than a year. They are eager to learn from past errors and are committed to turning JW Hall's into a fantastic dining experience for everyone. I left the meeting with a good feeling, and I now trust them enough to return as a customer. I encourage everyone to give JW Hall's another chance. The service was excellent, the food was top-notch, and it's a fantastic place to bring friends and family. Their steaks are simply amazing!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant with exceptional service and delicious food. I tried the lobster kettle, which was really enjoyable. The old fashion cocktails were good as well, though they were a bit on the small side. However, considering the price, it was a great deal!

Not because the food isn't good but because the service is trash. I sit at the bar, I always tip generously, never complain or send back food; HOWEVER, the gross women behind the bar have the most disgusting attitudes I have ever observed. The old lady at the hostess station (I believe the owner) attitude is just as repulsive. How do you expect to treat your female customers so slimy and expect them to want to come back?? I have had my feel and turned a blind eye too many times. My money has no limitations on where I can spend it and idc that this place is in my backyard. I'll drive 50 miles for a restaurant before I ever step foot in this place again.

Used to be a good place to eat, not any more! They have the locals fooled. You can get better quality food for the same or less money in Robinson, sewickley or beaver.
