Dirty Rooster Beer And Burger Joint

Live music and good bar food. We stumbled into this place one night to find an awesome rock band playing and some of the best nachos I've had. <br/ <br/ Since then, I've been back several times to confirm, while not wasted, that both the music and the food is indeed noteworthy. It's our go-to North Dallas beer, burger, and tunes place.

Fun Joint. I really enjoy stopping by for lunch and jumping in on the weekends for some pretty good live bands. We usually try to make it by at least once a month to get wasted and cause some trouble. Great burgers and sampler plate, and some cute waitresses, so can't complain!

This place recently changed its name from Bubba Moose to The Dirty Rooster. I am not sure this name is better but they advertise that this is a Beer and Burger place, so I was ready to try their burgers. The first thing I noticed when I got inside was the smell of last nights cigarette smoke. It was definitely more a bar than a restaurant and a few patrons were already having their first drink and a nice smoke (and this was 11:15 in the morning). Their menu featured among other a 12 oz double cheese burger. Bon appetit. That was too big for me. I went for Johnny O's Bacon Cheddar burger (1/2 lbs) with tomatoes, pickle, red onions, mayo and ketchup. It sounded really good. During the wait I noticed the complete lack of atmosphere. Maybe it would be better at night, but this place was really lacking any personality. The waitress was actually just the bartender that came out from the bar and she didn't have any personality

Staff is great, limited menu is good love the tots But, there is 1 guy, a customer I'll call Naruto wears a white bandana with the hidden leaf logo, when there is karaoke he runs at tables with no mask and sings at customers that obviously don't want him at their table When no karaoke, he does the same with miming the jukebox make the weirdo wear a mask if you're going to let him spit in people's faces

Dermitt is the best on Mondays and Tuesdays. He knows his regulars, but he loves a new face just as much. Highly recommend hanging out with him on these normally off nights!
