They are always understaffed with only 1-2 people working the entire front of house. If you have a party of 6 or more they will add gratuity to your check- which is fine- but will then ignore your table completely. After asking for water twice we eventually got up and grabbed the water pitcher ourselves off the service station. I am in the service industry and know how things can be when busy. But there is no reason this should happen again and again. Make sure you order everything you want right away like appetizers, ask for extra water for the table, and get the check as soon as the food comes out. For how much you end up spending here the service needs to be better.
Ramen Hakata is a wonderful place to eat. The vibes here are chill and calming. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoy the food very much, came out hot and fresh. There are so many different options to choose from on the menu and they all taste delicious. It’s in an easy to reach location as well. I will definitely be coming back here.
Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
I came here to try out their Tsukemen since I recently discovered it in a trip to Japan and have been obsessed with it.The service was great, but sadly the Tsukemen here is pretty awful. The soup was very thin and did not have a strong flavor that stuck to the dipping noodles.More disappointing than the broth though was the dipping noodles. They look good in a picture, but they were very mushy and did not taste very good. Also the first order brought out to me was either over or undercooked, the noodles were clearly discolored (brighter yellow), had a different texture in spots, and clumps of noodles were fused together.I asked for a second set of noodles and they politely apologized and said the noodles were hard to cook. The second set was a little better but still had some of the same problems. The chashu was small but tasted good. The mushrooms were good but for some reason insanely salty, almost unbearably so.I hate to rag on a restaurant but just steer clear of the Tsukemen, maybe their standard ramen is a lot better, but this place is kind of far from me so I don 't think I 'll be returning.
Little pricey but it matches the quality and selection of food. Nice fusion bowls as well. Would of got 5 stars but hanging lights or rope over patrons had alot of dust ready to fall off over eating tables. Still will come back just earlier because it was packed. I had curry mixed with udon noodles. Nice visual astetics as well. This cowboy knows where to get his Hangry on!
