The steak burrito was just okay—it was supposed to be their signature dish, but it had too much filler and not enough steak or flavor. The soft tacos were quite small and basic, to the point where my children, who usually finish everything they love, didn’t even want to finish theirs. The Supreme nachos were disappointing as well. They didn’t use real cheese, opting instead for a cheese sauce, and the portion was small. The toppings, such as beans, salsa, and jalapeños, seemed neither fresh nor tasty. The chicken burrito dish was underwhelming as well, with too much filler and not enough meat, resulting in an overall bland taste. The only items we genuinely enjoyed were the steak and chicken quesadillas, which had real cheese, plenty of meat, and were very fresh. It was a bit unusual that the steak quesadillas included grilled green peppers, something I hadn’t encountered before, but they were still good. I find that sauces are crucial for this type of cuisine, but they were disappointing—offering only mild and hot options. My family has diverse tastes, so it would have been nice to have a medium salsa available. While the salsas were fresh, they were still lacking in flavor. I was also a bit alarmed by a white creamy sauce that was served with our food. I was told it was sour cream, but it looked more like a glue-like substance, which I’ve never seen before. None of us wanted to try it after sampling it with our fingers. In summary, this restaurant is nothing special—just average food at best, with some questionable items. From a value perspective, it's a disappointment.
Eating was better than caliburrito. the Zilantro calbreis and crushed bark meat. I was there the first day and it showed. the employees need to work faster and they need to make their own chips (mine were stale and they could say to make business bought). it also looked like they were adding an salsa bar that would be a great supplement. look forward to going back
Finally a place to get a real burrito (sorry taco bell) in the opposite. the restaurant is new, so obviously everything is clean and tidy. the personal is excellent. all were very nice and cheerful. they have wrapped the burritos with expert precision! I always break the tortilla when I do it. at $6.49 for a burrito it is not cheap, but it was filled with all kinds of quality. they seem to order everything (sort like a Mexican version of subway). you follow them down and let them finish your eating as you like. I will go back to try more of the menu.
This place is great! I think they opened this year at the beginning, Jan/Feb, but it looks completely different than when they opened. they have really made the time and effort into the atmosphere well. eat, exceptional! the guacamole always looks fresh, as well as the salsa. I like that they are locally owned and operated! everything is fresh there! Last time I had the garnelen burrito, I think they should come with a surf-N-turn one! they also deliver now, and I talked to the owner about doing my next catering for the end of the summer.
Based on the wildly (elsewhere popular McDonald’s-owned (YES! Chipotle Grille this is a local effort that falls short. First, there is no Pork (Carnitas , second they are not terribly creative with the spicing and thirdly they just don’t serve the food hot enough (temperature Keep trying, better than nothing but crosstown Cali Burrito is a bit better.
