Island Bay Grill Caribbean - Allentown

The atmosphere is great and service also.But the food was not it. I ordered a large oxtail and white rice and it cost 21 dollars. Imagine ny disappointment in tasting the food and its salty. I 'm jamaican so re the saltiness the other flavors were overpowered. I did call the restaurant to let them know that this was the case. The young lady stated no one has complained about that today.... . but next time they would give me something on the house . The response for accountability wasn 't satisfactory in my eyes. There won 't be a next time for me.Great spot nonetheless.....but the food needs to be tasted while cooking it.....

This place was everything and the food was scrumptious if I could give yall 100 stars I would and best believe me and my family will be back. The amount of food I got for the price was well worth it.

Huge portions!!Two large meals were able to feed 4 adults.The delicious and authentic meals.

I placed a catering order for my son’s 1st birthday and it was such a hit! My friends and family devoured it and even asked for to go containers for the small amount of left overs we had. We ordered the jerk chicken, fried chicken, mac and cheese, rice and peas , fried plantains and beef patties. My guest loved the sauce they served with the jerk, it was incredible! My only regret is not grabbing some Togo menus or business cards, as everyone was asking where it was from wanting to go on their own.The staff were so friendly and accommodating. When I walked into the restaurant for pickup the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. It’s small, but cute, and huge in flavor. Everything was fresh and warm. I honestly can’t give it more praise. A perfect experience.. no complaints at all! Thank you to all the staff!!! We will be back!
