Having 5 sandwiches that you put bbq sauce on after cooked ain?t bbq so please call yourself Ritz diner and ice cream parlor because that?s what you are. Overall, food was pretty good for a diner
We went in for ice cream. Many flavors and toppings and great taste. My nitpick is the pineapple topping isn't pure pineapple slices. It was a pineapple slice mixed with pineapple syrup type topping. Just a preference discrepancy.
Nice ?diner?, has a cool throwback feel to it. Service was great, wish they had more ?BBQ? type foods, definitely a Dinner and not a BBQ place. They don?t have brisket, pull pork or any smoked meats. the crab cakes are really small,
This restaurant serves traditional BBQ that dates back to the past, when large cuts of pork, turkey, etc. were stewed in a mix of ketchup, vinegar, and mustard to preserve them. This old-school method of BBQ is what they serve here, which is different from modern interpretations involving smokers, pits, brisket, and pulled pork. Those who grew up in this area over 50 years old likely remember having pork or turkey BBQ in school cafeterias, and that is exactly what is served here. So, don't criticize them for not being traditional BBQ, as the issue lies in a lack of understanding of the history and origins of this style of BBQ.
I went to this restaurant for a late lunch with a friend. We both ordered the veal dish and it was delicious. My friend loved the pickled cabbage. Paula, our server, was wonderful. I would definitely come back here again.
