Agra Spice World - Allerdale

Me and my partner order from agra weekly and it never fails. Food is beautiful, delivered in reasonable time. Tried other Indians when we've been away and nowhere comes close to agra.

It took 3 hours to receive our order from this restaurant. When we called after 1 hour and 45 minutes, we were told that there were too many orders ahead of ours. We received a text update saying the order was on its way, but after calling to confirm, we realized that was not the case at all.

I never review anywhere, but I am due to the fact I had phoned Agra about the food and the person on the phone wasn’t interested in the slightest. We’ve ordered from here loads of times with no problems at all, I ordered chicken tikka jalfrezi and partner ordered chicken dansak. I ordered food through Just Eat and it arrived 90 minutes late and cold. I called the restaurant three times but they were obviously overwhelmed and unable to keep up with the demand. I tried to speak to the manager but he was unavailable and I am still waiting for him to return my call. I paid £30 for a subpar meal and will never use this place again.

We order from this restaurant at least once a week. The food is always delicious, the delivery takes about 60 minutes through Foodhub, and the service is consistently good. The staff is friendly and it suits us well. We will definitely continue to be loyal customers.
