Great beer, friendly staff, good food. There's a lovely beer garden out the front, and plenty of seating inside. Their fries are the best... sweet potato, halloumi or regular potato they're all awesome. Serves a good pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord.... Honestly the best meal out we've had in years. Booked for a family birthday meal and requested a dining pod. Perfect for allowing the kids to enjoy themselves without worrying about keeping them on their seats! The owner is fantastic, friendly, upbeat and full of energy, but not overbearing. He strikes the perfect hosting balance! The waiting staff were lovely, very attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb. Obviously quality ingredients expertly cooked with very generous portions. Not the cheapest but certainly not overpriced and, bearing in mind the quality of the food and service, I would say excellent value for money. Will definitely be back again soon and I cannot recommend this place enough. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options, including amazing halloumi and mushroom burger Kid-friendliness: Dining pods outside are perfect for kids but inside main restaurant is fine for kids
