The Hootennany is a family favorite, but personally I think the cowboy coffee is a really great addition to a charcuterie plate. They make a fresh chevre that does not have the barnyard taste that some other brands do.
I love this place so much, the owners are so nice to us.
Best cheese in the Tri-State area! They even sell it in Whole foods and Giant Eagle Market District.
Amazing local creamery that specializes in goats milk cheeses. They feature 7 varieties of cheeses that are carried by a bevy of local restaurants (ACE Hotel, Avenue B, Butcher and the Rye, Eden, Mezzo, Nine on Mine, Scratch, Six Penn, Spoon, Vivo...You get the idea). You can also buy their cheeses at Whole Foods, East End Co-op, Penn Mac, and the 52 Street Market. Their cheeses are seriously creative and delicious. For example, Bamboozle is made with beer from Roundabout, how cool is that? My favorite is Cowboy Coffee which is hand rubbed with Commonplace Coffee. My favorite Goat Rodeo cheese name is More Cowbell (actually a cow 's milk cheese). Hilarious, you might buy this for the name, but the cheese is extraordinary, too. Look for their cheeses at your favorite restaurant, tell them Dave the Cheese Guy sent you. And giddy up!
I am deeply saddened and upset that they are taking the land away from this farm just to build factories. The animals are adorable and you can tell they are well taken care of, the produce is wonderful, and the vibes of the farm are welcoming. I can't believe that Amy's farm will no longer exist one day. I do have a question, when will Amy's farm end? I want to know so we could visit many times before the closure. Thank you Amy's farm for all the beautiful memories of a beautiful time.Edit: I read the update section. I am so sad I will never get to see the farm again, I will try to stop by for the shop soon
