Vite Colta Enoteca - ALLISTE

We loved this charming restaurant with delicious eating wine so much we came back two nights in a row. it is family-run and local. the family it operates is human and warm, and eating is so fresh. highly recommended!

The wines of dei agre, which are served in vite colta, are very interesting and tasty. it was such a great experience to drink this wein and be served by the enthusiastic owner who answers all our questions about the wein with pleasure. the service was really fantastic! the venue is also beautiful. the small place illuminated by night, surrounded by old buildings, makes them definitely feel, they are in an Italian film. many thanks for a great experience!

We are fans of natural wines, so once we found this place we had to go. What can I say, we found ourselves in a really beautiful and evocative square with multiple restaurants, fortunately we had booked because otherwise I don't think we would have been able to sit down. The wine list and menu are excellent Unfortunately the wine chosen was not at temperature and so we opted for a rosé of their production, good, very particular, then we opted for a vegetable appetizer, really good, praise for their peppers, never eaten so good, later we chose pieces of horse and ciceri and tria, both very good dishes, the horse was literally butter! And since you can't finish a meal without desserts, I took the pasticciotto cake, which in my opinion was worth the entire dinner alone! Congratulations also to all the staff, extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend anyone in the area to try it!

So pleased we followed the recommendation received by some Italian 'foodie ' residents of Florence who holiday in Gallipoli. This family restaurant provided the gastronomic hi-light of our stay in Salento. Great service with fabulous food in a quintessentially rustic Puglian piazza setting. A real taste of the region in every way.
