It's antiquated! Lousy service whenever we visited. Food is mediocre. I think the owner doesn't have the experience to run this type of business! The ambience needed quite a bit of improvement. This is why I haven't been there for a long time!
The Bistro is our go to place to eat. We've tried almost everything on the menu. Nothing has disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful. They always make us feel welcome. It's nice to sit and look out at the pond enjoy a relaxing meal with family or friends.
Great food especially Friday night roast beef sandwiches. Pleasant outdoor seating
I genuinely love eating here! The food is amazing! I have literally been there 3 times in 8 days, lol. Dad and I went there 8 days ago. I ordered the meatball appetizer for dinner and dad had the cod fish (no chips). First, the meatballs are a solid 2 oz each (they are nearly double the size of a golf ball), super moist, with slightly sweet spaghetti sauce with melted mozz! OMGawsh, they are the best! AND THERE IS 6 OF THEM for only $14.99!! Dad's fish was lightly breaded and huge pieces!! Fish was flakey and not greasy. For 3 pieces I believe it was $16.99. We both got dinner salads (separate charge). I had a nice Caesar salad which honestly, had the perfect amount of dressing. I genuinely do not like when they drown the romaine in dressing; had homemade garlic croutons. Dad had a beautiful green salad that had all kinds of yummy veggies! The salads were generous portions also. So, between Dad and I, we ordered appetizer meatballs (6), 3 piece fish, two side salads and no drinks; the bill was just under $50! Dad ate two of my meatballs and we still had two left over to take home. Sadly, I didn't take a photo which is bizarre because I always take a photo of my food guess I was too busy eating all this deliciousness! Also, tonight we went there and Dad had the spaghetti meatballs and it was a huge plate of food with four pieces of bread!! More yummy take home! I had the brussels sprouts and they were exquisite! They were deep fried, added with bacon and blue cheese over a bed of spinach! SHUT UP!! To die for! If you plan on visiting on a Friday or Saturday night, reservations are definitely recommended. They also have a nice little bar on the other side which is terrific because dining consumers don't have to hear the bar noise. BON APPETITE TO THE BISTRO LAKELAND VILLAGE, ALLYN WA.
