I first tasted this legendary Laksa in 1967 when it was sold by Din himself on his gerek going from house to house. Just sekupang a plate but to a then 10 year old boy it was jilatable delicious. The present Laksa is a far cry from the original but still acceptable. The ingredients are still there but l guess you need the authentic kuah made from the stagnant water in the padi fields of Teluk Kechai.
