Mee Abu - Alor Setar

Incredibly the best Mamak style noodle dressage in Alor Setar for generations. The best way to enjoy the delicious, mouth-watered Mee Goreng with Telur Mata at reasonable prices (RM 5.50). Food can be considered clean with fast service. Menus next to Mee/Bihun/Kuetiau Goreng and Mee Rebus are here like Pasembur, Roti Canai (morning), Tosai and Nasi Campur all day availbale.

I can smell the scent of heaven on arrival and just went to the snake that had been built for 3 days. Only during this time the end mic may take away, but it has not even reduced the taste an ounce. The first bite was ecstasy, and the rest of the plate is sent to God. These wonderful people who deliver this heavenly food will go to heaven Allah.

Once you come to Alor Star, you must try Mee Abu to cook with coal, the taste of fried noodles, rice noodles and Mee Rebus noodle brings your memories to life.

If you are in Alor Setar you MUST stop by here for the infamous plate of Mee goreng! Mee goreng is stir fried with coal fire and i must say it preserves the Wok Hay perfectly! The aroma is insane!

This is for me is one of the best Mee Mamak Goreng and Mee Rebus in Malaysia. They have been around for the longest of time and honestly it is consistently good. I never forget to visit them at least once when I m in Alor Setar. Enter through the North Exit of Alor Setar from the highway and just go straight. Back to the review, you will make an exception if you are just like me, don't like yellow noodles. Boric acid taste. Yucks! But this shop manages to prepare it so well that you hardly taste it. The Mee Mamak taste sweet, salty, and spicy. Squeeze a bit of lime and it elevates the taste further. Wow! The Mee Rebus is also out of this world. The base sauce has been cooked till super smooth and they add chili sauce to it. Squeeze the lime and its another level of flavour. I highly recommend both in yellow Mee even though you are not a fan of it.
