Sushi Zanmai, Aman Central, Alor Setar

My favourite place for lunch at Aman Central. Must try the salmon skin rm9.80, the service is ok. Price is reasonable. The restaurant is always full, but clean. Comfortable to eat here alone.

Rate 4.5 Star. The food is all above average, great taste and fantastic. Alor Star with high standard, good work!!!

I’m going to be straight, some of the food here aren’t good and lacked standard but there were a few acceptable rice and sushi dishes. ——————— Below are some of the flaws on our food: salmon on the sushi not proportionate for each piece chicken teriyaki rice was bad(cold egg and rice, chicken was dry and tough) garlic fried rice lacked taste ——————— I realise there aren’t any napkins on the table upon sitting down and that says a bit about the place. Service was fast during our time here due to few customers so anything slower would result in unhappy faces. The price is typical like many Japanese restaurants out there and they only charge the 6% SST with no service charge. For me, it is sitting just on the ‘reasonable’ mark.

Peak dinner time the place is only less than 50% occupied and they say “sorry we are holding off customers because kitchen is busy”. What a joke. Please learn from the Paragon branch how to run your business properly!!!!

I love this sushi! The food is really good. But the service is too slow and they did not have many choices of drinks at this time because soda, coke, rice tea and much was not available at this moment. All I am is a beautiful location and beautiful food. The prices are okay. But please do more for your service. We're waiting for our food and nobody's bringing us a baby chair and the baby chair was dirty. We need to clean it ourselves.
