When I first went in, I was somewhat skeptical, the place was empty and when I asked questions 2 of the 3 employees, little seemed to know nothing about the place. We ordered a family remedy, 1.5 pounds of meat, 2 pages and tea. The bride was very good, the ribs were super tender and the chicken was just okay. Was not a big fan of sauce, but personally I never really enjoy too much sauce. I would recommend this place to someone. And go back
I was looking for another bbq place to be my new one. That can be him. I ordered the Brisket-Mac shell. The Mac and the cheese were some of the best I ever had. The brisket was tender and fat. I also ordered ribs and potato salad. The best I ever tasted. The ribs had fallen from the bone and when they were dipped with the sauce, it was just incredible. I highly recommend this place.
Today was my first visit. I went in and told the guys that it was my first time. Instead of making suggestions or sharing favorites from the menu, he said? take your time on the menu.? And went back to his discussion with the other. So my first impression was bad. And then I looked at the prices that seemed high. For a family meal with 1.5 LBs meat it came to $52. But I had a Hankering for BBQ and hoped it would be exceptional. Spoiler alarm: it wasn't great. After I had made hundreds of pig dogs and pulled by hand, I found the pulled pork and with some chewing pieces that I would have rejected. Typically, the white filmic fat is removed, but they have left it there against which I am philosophical. The pulled pork also lacked a smokey taste that is surprising and disappointing. The brisket is nicely cooked, very delicate and can be cut with a fork. But again, no remarkable taste, just very bland without smokey taste. Where's the pepper? Where's the smoke ring? Your pages are nothing to write at home. The Mac and the cheese is more buttery than creamy and the Brunswick one-pot options do not excite me. (I don't want to say if it's good or bad, because it's just not my thing. The best part of my order was the sauces, both the sweet and spicy were great. But I think good BBQ? ed meat should not have to rely on sauce to be fit. In this case, the meat requires that the sauce is good. In view of the premium price they charge for C-meat and disappointing service, I do not want to return. In future, I will go next to the New York butcher shop for excellently drawn pig, brisket and Mac and cheese at a fair price. Or if I want a BBQ spot, I drive a bit further to smoke jack or seasoned right, both of which are excellent.
Coleslaw was a little plain, the barbecue brisket was tender and moist, banana pudding was great.
