Absolutely exceptional in every way. The high-end food is incredibly delicious. The staff is happy, friendly, and attentive. Service is fantastic and efficient, and the cleanliness is top-notch. This is the best traditional pub I've visited in a long time, and I can't wait to return!

Lovely old pub. Excellent food cooked from scratch. Menu is varied. We are regulars and cannot recommend it highly enough. Good service. Dog friendly. You will not be disappointed. I recommend the crab salad, and mussels.

Visited with the family for lunch last Saturday. Under new ownership. The food was exceptional, service wonderful and welcoming and good value. Delicious menu and great choices for vegetarians and vegans. Highly recommend.

We had a delightful dining experience at The Rising Sun over the Jubilee weekend. They offered a special BBQ menu, and everything we ordered was not only delicious but also beautifully presented and thoughtfully crafted. The dishes were inventive and showcased a lot of care, though we were a bit taken aback by the ridiculous prices (we couldn't believe the £8 charge for a Pornstar Martini!). The staff was friendly, and the chef even came out to recommend some dishes. I would definitely return to try their regular menu as well. It's truly a hidden gem.

I had an amazing dining experience here tonight. The menu is diverse, featuring fresh ingredients, and everything was perfectly cooked. The service matched the quality of the food. It truly offers some of the best classic pub fare I've ever had.
