It was often. The last time they were short-circuited and I had to wait 60 minutes for my carving. The food was nice when it came and the Alteahr Frühburgunder was tasty as always
We had a few drinks on the terrace. This is beautifully located on the sunny side. The service is good and they offer all kinds of beer, wine, coffee and tea. It is also possible for lunch or dinner.
Great place to taste wine tasting. We took a long walk along the way, visited the castle ruins and then made wine tastings. I only had a cheese plate with the wine, so I don't know anything about the food. Some wines were amazing. Don't get away from the grim waiter.
Very good fare for a reasonable price. Some typical local dishes as well as a bit more exotic dishes. Don't forget to check out the desserts!
We came here after finishing a hike in the area, when we were looking for a place to sit and have a drink. The place is right across from the train station, which makes it very accessible. The staff was super-friendly, and when we asked...if it would be possible for us to sit outside, it took them less than 5 minutes to arrange tables and chairs in the terrace, which was otherwise closed due to winter season. They had no problem to have it open just for us and serve us outside even while it was full inside. The food itself was very good. The fish was very fresh and perfectly made, and schnitzels were served in big portions with 2 side dishes. The place is a bit pricey, but that is to be expected in such a touristic town. Compared to other businesses around it was not expensive.
