Paddock Bistrot Public House

My partner and I stayed in Turin for 2 days, and for dinner we were looking for a little place on the river that was suitable for us, so by chance we ended up in this cute, very welcoming Bistrot for dinner. We had an amazing Piedmontese appetizer to say the least, a plate of tagliolini alla boscaiola and one of gnocchi with cream and walnuts, what can I say, the tagliolini were delicious and fresh, the gnocchi melted in your mouth and the sauce was perfect! For second we wanted to try the sliced meat, assuming that we are very critical of the meat, the sliced meat asked for rare WAS A SLICED RARE RARE, perfect, soft, not nervous, an explosion of flavour! The portions of all dishes are very generous! Let's move on to the beers, I'll start by saying that I'm not an expert beer drinker at all, but I wanted to trust the owner who offered me a red guest beer (I don't remember the name very delicate, caramelized and light. I'm just saying it flowed like water, delicious! Then to finish it all we tasted the delicious and hopefully very soon famous AMARO MELE! always on trust of the owner! Inimitable is an understatement! A perfect evening, spent very little less than €30 each and the quality was EXCELLENT. All accompanied by the welcome and friendliness of the staff and the owner who was able to make us feel at home with his friendliness and kindness and his monstrous knowledge of beers! If you pass through Turin you cannot miss this magical place even just for a good beer in company! I'm sorry I don't have any photos to post but there wasn't time we had to enjoy all that goodness! But if we ever return here we will definitely come back to visit you!

Here you can drink excellent beer recommended with professionalism and competence by the very nice Denis. The cuisine offers excellent traditional dishes with quality ingredients cooked with love compliments to the chefs. The Piedmontese appetizer, the fassone steak, cheese and pepper, the tender and tasty sliced meat cooked to taste, baked potatoes and the special of the day horse stew... all fantastic dishes! Generous portions... If you love desserts, leave room! Don't miss the Mele herbal digestive. The warm and welcoming environment makes you immediately feel like you are among friends even if you are a foreigner.

A little worn but immediately reminiscent of traditional pubs. The food is good and the service fast and friendly. The times written outside sometimes do not coincide with those found around the internet. Better to call if you have any doubts about the opening.
