The restaurant boasts an excellent chef and delightful servers that create a fun atmosphere for lunch. The food is consistently delicious throughout the year, with the fish dishes and specialties being the highlights. The menu offers great value for money and is sure to satisfy even the hungriest of diners. While it may be a bit of a trek from the city, it’s definitely worth the journey.

I feel compelled to share a review that I believe is quite unfair, and I'm doing so just a week before this supplement! I know the owners well enough to understand, from my experience as a cyclist, that they are not at all anti-cyclist. We cyclists can sometimes be a nuisance, yet the owners and staff have always been incredibly friendly and welcoming to us. Instead of being annoyed by cyclists on the road, they provide helpful and attentive advice about the potential dangers of certain routes that many cyclists take. They truly care about our safety. The owners are wonderful people, and the atmosphere is very cyclist-friendly overall. It's a lovely place with a great vibe!

Charming country pub with a great selection of beers and ciders. The staff are wonderful, and the food was excellent as well. There's a lovely garden that provides a perfect spot to relax on a nice day.
