Alton Village Inn Pancake House

Ashleigh did an amazing job but two of her coworkers had bad attitudes! The bust boy and a blonde chick at the register. Not the only one who noticed. Took a long time to get our food. Not Ashleigh's fault!

This place is the best little breakfast diner around. Big coffee cup, big portions and well done. Got the Village Inn omelet, had biscuits inside it, then the gravy on the outside. Make sure you use the house hot sauce, great flavor, nice little kick. The cinnamon roll French toast is also fantastic.

11/10 definitely recommend, will always go again! The food here is incredible! I can't wait to come back and eat everything on the menu. The service was super fast and friendly AND personable, the menu was extensive, everything was delicious, it was quite affordable, it was very clean, and the homemade hot sauce was so good we had to buy some before we left. Also, nobody batted an eye or acted weird about my gender presentation it was awesome! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options omelettes, gravy, scrambles, pancakes, etc. Parking: Big lot on the side of the building. Mix of gravel and pavement Kid friendliness: Syrup! They have everything a diner should have, so of course they are kid friendly!

Our third visit! Fast, friendly service! Excellent food! Cozy.

Took my kids for lunch and was rushed. Hadn’t even touched 25% of our food she slapped a check down asking if we needed to go boxes.
