Limited menu so just had average tasting pie. Wife had soup she said was good

Always superb meals. The special was a turkey sandwich with cheese and a cranberry sauce that was excellent!

I absolutely love this place. Their rhubarb pie and the gooseberry pie are my favorites. Pecan pie is another great choice. Their sandwiches are good too — served with a pickle and chips. It's on Broadway in Alton — so there is plenty else to do nearby, if you're looking for a day out. The service is good, the vibe is nice, and the pies are exceptional.

You really cannot beat the food and prices here. Staff are friendly, attentive and fast. Everything is homemade and you can tell. Highly recommend the Garden Salad with poppyseed dressing.

Desserts are simply amazing..love Ms Ledbetters (type of pie). Great variety.
