Sandy Point - Alton Bay

Had a great lunch today at Sandy Point. Delicious streamers and great caesar salad. My husband had hamburger and fries. Said it was the best hamburger he's had anywhere. Saying something coming from him. We will definately be back.

Food is terrible! First we had the mozzarella points, which are frozen and came out cold. The my wife and I had the haddock po boy, I have to be honest, I think there was maybe 4 oz of fish and pound of batter, stale bread and wilted lettuce. My son has the lobster mac-n-cheese which was also cold which tells me it wasn't cooked to order. Completely not worth the $27 cost for the dish. This place used to be so good years ago, not sure what happened but my family will never dine here again.

Server seemed like he hated his life and the food is not the quality it used to be.

Vistied on June 28th at 7pm. We had a party of 10 but called the day before so they should have been ready. There was only one other table with people eating, so they were not busy at all. I paid $50 for my entree and the busboy is using a bustray in front of me while I am eating instead of carrying the plates away. The wait staff tried their best but simply were not ready, and the place was almost empty. Food was good but not great and definitely not worth the price. Not all entrees were served at the same time, so some people were finished while others had not yet been served. Not all side orders were ever brought out. My family have been visiting Sandy Point for over 30 yrs but I don't know that we will return. Very very disappointed.

Loved it- food was awesome!!!! Very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend highly
