Cool Basil - Altoona

The food was excellent! We just arrived and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the flavors. The Thai fortune cookie was a delightful addition. I highly recommend this place!

A family of five visited, and everyone loved their meals. The staff was exceptionally friendly.

The basil is refreshing. At Cool Basil, they create their own curry and don’t skimp on flavor! The ambiance of the restaurant is complemented by the sound of birds serenading with the gentle flow of a stream in the background. I could swear I heard a hint of the Taco Bell jingle, but I was more than satisfied. The “warm slammin’ curry” was quite spicy. I asked the waitress why the food was so hot, considering her name is Cool Basil, and she simply smiled and handed me my check. I tipped her $1,000.00 and started putting the leftover curry in my pockets. She even offered me a takeout container, but I was in a hurry. As I rushed to the door, the curry started spilling into my shoes. Overall, my experience at Cool Basil was truly one-of-a-kind, and I plan to return. Don’t believe me? Follow my Twitter... Great Thai restaurant serving great Chinese Japanese dishes. Each dish served my party of five was freshly prepared and very tasty. The servers were all friendly and helpful.

Great place. Friendly and quick service. Everything I've tried has been outstanding. You can't go wrong here.
