Panda Express - Altoona

Not really my kind of Chinese food. Nothing specifically wrong, just disappointed in quality of chicken (fatty and dark) and the heavy presence of rough vegetables that are tough to chew. Green beans were wrinkled and lack of any taste. Peppers were chewy and seemed to be from the top center and bottom of the pepper. Noodles dry like ramen without any sauce. Endless onions but Im not a fan. This may just be how the American version of Chinese food is, but not what expected. Just a neutral honest impression.

I tried Panda Express for the first time and was disappointed with the portion size; it was much too small for the price I paid. I can get a much better value from local restaurants for the same amount of money, and I will continue to support them. I won't be ordering from Panda Express again.

Bigger Plate consistently offers great value, and the Cream Cheese Rangoon is always a hit. However, I found the Passion Mango Black Tea to be quite bland.

The meal was delightful, featuring honey sesame chicken served with fried rice and chow mein. The chow mein had a somewhat buttery texture, reminiscent of leftovers, and a flavor that was different from what I’m used to, but it was still quite tasty. The fried rice, while enjoyable, was a bit bland. The Chicken Egg Roll was decent; it had a good taste from its ingredients and remained crunchy even after delivery.

I love chinese chicken lo mein and broccoli and wings great food.
