Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

This particular Rita's is inside Bedford Candies and Popcorn. Their custard and Italian ice are both amazing. Our dog loves it too and it doesn't upset his stomach!

Ugh, this is not the Rita's I'm used to. I grew up in Philadelphia, home of the original Rita's, and they can make anything from anything. My husband tried ordering a Misto shake with cake batter custard and cookies and cream ice. She told us she couldn't do that, even though out in Philadelphia that's how they make the Misto. She said that would be considered a blendini, which I've never even heard of until this location opened. The lady said she had to make it with the soft serve custard, so he asked for a twist with the cookies and cream ice. Nope, she made a gelati. Then she says the Misto is made with liquid custard?! I've never even heard of THAT. I guess they don't have a powerful enough blender. Definitely won't be coming back to this location.

Fantastic, great flavors and selection plus reasonable prices! Would absolutely return and recommend. Great convenient location located inside of Bedford Candies. Which also has the best chocolates and flavored popcorn around! Would highly recommend.

I went for the first time last night and had a regular mango one. It was delicious! I love how you can taste the flavor the entire time you are eating the Italian ice! I had the Mango Strawberry as a Misto and it was phenomenal!

Super clean and super friendly staff. Our ice cream treats were out of sight.
