Grouse's Nest Lounge - Altoona

I am really surprised actually, the environment is very chill as well, music is kinda weird since it's 90s R&B nonstop ????, but the service was good can't complain. I will be coming again.

We stay here 3 to 5 times a year. We love the entertainment in the neat! Yes the sound system needs a tuning...not a hard fix with the right person. Good Bartenders are hit and miss. Sometimes they need training and a kick in the butt. We love thepretzels! Will continue to stay here!

Our waitress is VERY GOOD. The kitchen seemed to be having some difficulties today. We waited over an hour for our food, but it was all delicious when we got it. The waitress kept us informed throughout the process and authorized appropriate adjustments toour bill. Everybody can have an off day now and then; I 'd give this place another try.

Food and service was very good however the noise level is very high. Visited twice in the same week and both nights were loud even though there wasn't a large crowd. Tolerable if you're there drinking or enjoying the game but not so much if you're thereto relax or have a quiet dinner
