Cask Cork - Amarillo

We were driving through the area and remembered we had had a great dinner here years ago so made sure we stopped by. We came for lunch and the restaurant was not busy at all. The food was excellent, I love the blackberry and goat cheese pizza.

My wife and I celebrated an Anniversary meal here on the spacious outdoor patio. Jen provided amazing service and the food was very tasty! Highly recommend.

Made reservations for the Thursday night Prime Ribe. New to town and had never been. The website made the restaurant look nice. Got there and we were asked where we wanted to sit. She said downstairs, upstairs or bar. We said no bar so she put us upstairs. The upstairs is next to the bar and looks like overflow. Waitress was nice and attentive. Hardly anyone up there at 6:00. Ordered Prime rib. Took awhile. Medium rare. Cooked right however it had brown gravy on it! I have never seen Prime Rib with gravy. Waitress said that was their Aus jus sauce but it was straight us gravy. Way too much black pepper as well. We did eat it after scrapping the gravy off. Lesson learned. Don't order the prime rib.

Very average experience. Decor is eclectic. Ran out of prime rib because a large party upstairs ordered the prime rib simultaneously. You're telling me they happened to have the exact number of people in their party to equal the remaining portions of prime rib? There wasn't one more? So, then, I ordered the tuna. $42 for bland, overcooked tuna. Wife had to ask for pepper to make the tuna edible. Small portion, too. Chocolate cake for $8. Told them online it was a birthday celebration when I made the reservation. No mention of it by the server. No free dessert. Jalapeño poppers were strange and overpriced at $16. They gave us those for free, at least, as an apology for going back on taking my prime rib order. You shouldn't advertise prime rib as a special and run out before 645pm. Over $100 for 2 people and we ordered water as our drink and despite getting the jalapeño poppers for free. Glass of wine seemed to be a minimum of $12. Too much. Probably won't be back.

The wait staff is kind and caring. Food is phenomenal with a great atmosphere for a date or a group
