Chili's Grill - Amarillo

AMAZING SERVICE! The waiter was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. We never ran out of chips or drinks. The food was delicious—we finished everything and still wanted more! The atmosphere was fantastic, and we will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I recently stopped in Amarillo for a night on our way back to Southern California, and we were pleased to find a Chili's nearby. We often enjoy lunch at Chili's before movies, and we love the $10.99 "3 for Me" deal. We were puzzled as to why this location only had 2.5 stars—could it be that the food wasn't good? To our surprise, the food was excellent! It tasted just like the one in Orange County—actually, it was identical. I ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer, and the chips were served hot and were more than enough for us to share. My husband opted for a cheeseburger, which was large and juicy. Our server, a young man, was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Our total bill was just $24 after tax! We truly love Chili's!

When my receipt arrived, it showed a $14.99 charge for the "3 for Me," a mysterious $5.60 charge for the appetizer, and a $3.99 charge for the Dip Trio. The waitress was unable to explain the $5.60, so she brought over the manager. The manager told me that’s just how the system rings it up. I mentioned that I've ordered this many times before and had never seen a $5.60 charge. I asked if she could bring a menu to clarify what I was missing, and she rolled her eyes at me before getting it. When I inquired about the $5.60 on the menu, she said she couldn’t explain it but insisted the charge was correct and that there was nothing she could do about it. It’s not just the $5; it was her eye-roll and inability to clarify the charge that really annoyed me. I've attached a copy of my receipt from today, my receipt from September 28th that didn’t include the $5.60 charge for the same items, and a copy of the menu, hoping someone can help me understand where I went wrong.

Food was great. We absolutely loved the Mozerella sticks with its sauce! The burgers where a bit salty, but its one of the rare times I enjoy a hamburger (Chili's secret sauce burger). The service is good and ambiance was also calm. Recommended.

Today I had the worst experience at Chili's off I 40 access road in Amarillo. Been a fan of Chili's for over 25 years starting in Denver. My friend and I stopped in for lunch after church and we both ordered the two for combos. I had the half rack of ribs and jalapeño sausage, my friend, half rack of ribs and quesadilla we ordered the egg roll appetizer which was fantastic and served hot., But when our meals arrived, everything was cold.. Garlic Bread cold, Mexican Corn on the Cob cold (gross!! sausage cold, and the ribs just luke warm with very little meat on them. Expectation should be better for a tab of over $70.00. In addition, was charged an additional $2.95 for the little table top computer used to pay my tab. Service was just ok, food was unacceptable.. To end my visit, went to the men's room, and the urinals were very dirty, stained yellow from urine and looked like they haven't been cleaned in months. My last visit to this Chili's.
