Meme’s D.o.c. - Amarillo

I absolutely love this place, old school vibe with some awesome food to match. I've been here a quite a bit and had a great time every time. Lunch specials come with soup or salad, a drink, and dessert. Last time I was there I had the brisket with salad, beans, mashed potatoes, iced tea. For desert I had some type of Reece's pieces cheese cake it was so good.

THERE ARE SO MANY AWESOME WONDERFUL THINGS TO SAY ABOUT MEME'S CAFE! Where do I begin?! Hmmm, well let's begin with the atmosphere it's awesome! It's wonderful and fits in with the surroundings wonderfully! The service, oh the service, is great and that waitress Katey is amazing I really like her she's outgoing, she's wonderful, she's down to Earth very friendly and really good at what she does! There's two sisters, and one of them owns the place, that do the cooking and it's the best down-home cooking that you could ever have! There's a wonderful lunch special Monday through Friday I would suggest you go check this out it's a great place to be!Parking: There are two handicap spaces with loading zone, ramps and I myself can get in and out of there with a power chair!Wheelchair accessibility: NOT MUCH MORE TO SAY EXCEPT THE INSIDE DINING TABLES ARE REALLY EASY TO GET UP TO 2 BECAUSE IT'S CHAIRS AND TABLES AND YOU JUST HAVE TO MOVE A CHAIR AND PARK YOURSELF RIGHT THERE, IT'S IT'S EASY! IT'S A GREAT PLACE, IT'S A WONDERFUL PLACE FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE DISABLED! I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE ACCESSIBILITY IN AND OUT OF THAT PLACE THE ONLY PROBLEM IS AND IT'S THE BEST THEY CAN DO WITH THAT BUILDING IS THE RESTROOMS ARE VERY SMALL, YOU'LL HAVE TO BE ABLE TO WALK SOME TO GET INTO THE RESTROOM AND OUT OF THE RESTROOM BUT WITH THAT SAID THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! I'D GO TRY IT OUT, I KEEP GOING BACK AND LOVE IT!

Can't explain how awsome this place is. It was our first time there. Soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and seated. Waitress was amazing and the food just the same. Our 6 year old daughter tore up some calf fries before we could eat a couple. It is well priced and service and food are amazing. Will definitely be back again soon for sure

Great local restaurant. The food was delicious, and portions were just right. I'm looking forward to going back again.

Stopped here while on a road trip. Katie our waitress was very nice and attentive . She made us feel welcomed and never let our coffee cups go empty.Always a smile on her face. This is exactly what you want to wake up to-breakfast and a smiling face. STOP BY HERE! You WILL NOT regret it!Food was perfect ‘ol country cookin’ and great prices! Enjoy!
