Slim Chickens - Amarillo

I stopped by here every once in awhile. When my credit card was missing it was handy to be able to order online and just pick it up. Also since they are open till 10:00 or so it meant I could stop by here after other activities if they lasted late and I was hungry. I usually just get the kids meal for about 5 bucks. The price is varied because prices are going up everywhere but it's still running around 5:00 or $6. It includes two sides. I've eaten it in the car and I've eaten it inside. Also if you sign up for their app and rewards program you get emails or texts about specials so I have gotten them a couple times to save money like a chicken and waffles or three-piece chicken dinner type combo. It makes for a cheap meal when you're on a budget. The girls at the cashier counter I usually very friendly and pleasant.

Do not go here if it is after 10pm!!!! These workers don’t care about what they give you even tho you paid a Arm for it!!! Went last night 1/2/23 about 10pm (drive thru) we literally ordered meals and all the chicken tenders were old hard and burnt (Not even joking) and didn’t find out till we got home and we live about 10min away. they even gave us extra old dry and burnt chicken in each meal!!! Probably because they were trying to get rid of what they had left.. the fries were cold hard and dry like they had been sitting out all day.. Nothing was a bit warm!!! We couldn’t even eat the damn food because it was so dry we probably would of choked swallowing it….. some one make this right I have my receipt and pictures

Never been there so I can't say if it's good or not.

First, I want to personally thank Destiny and her friend Tater Tots for personally inviting me to try the food here, which was awesome!! The Chick Meal was amazing and the complimentary Strawberry Cheesecake in a Jar was an unexpected addition. I will definitely stop at this location again when I travel through Amarillo and I highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a good chicken meal served with a smile. BRAVO!!

Absolutely terrible. Got the classic with grilled chicken and unsweet tea via drive thru. The chicken was dry and no taste, seemed to be microwaved. The chicken was at best 3 ounces. The fries seemed to have been soaking in grease, extremely greasy. My first and last visit to Slim
