Kokoro Sushi Japan Cousin - Ambato

This is one of the few places in Ambato for Sushi and Japanese food. The sushi is good but a bit overpriced, which in itself would be ok, but the customer service is beyond bad. This could actually be a pretty good place if the staff would pay a bit more attention to their guests and if they would at least try to be friendly.

I ordered home and was delayed for more than an hour, the taste left much to be desired. Kokoro salad used to be my favorite, but this time the taste was nothing good. The spicy tuna roll was incommunicable and the roll of palta and salmon was decent. I guess it's a matter of taste but in Sushi there are many better options in Ambato. Nothing recommended this place.

I mean the detail is that the Sushi Misura doesn't know anything, the size is average but the filling is little... They do not have good decor of ducks and x the price is little what one receives. ...

I was going to leave a response both in English and Spanish but I see many people have already had the same experience. I'd say the food was pretty decent not a v maybe like a 4, 3.5 although the women who hosts and serves you is probably the most rude staff member I've ever seen at any restaurant. I walked in with High Hopes because it was a very cute place and first off, we are greeted by no one we look around just in case to see if it's open and we look into the kitchen and the woman is standing there chatting away with the cook looks at her clock rolled her eyes that's while I'm checking the schedule of the restaurant and noticed that there's two and a half hours left before they close. Then when we finally get some attention woman acts as though she doesn't want to take our order then proceeds to throw her ticket book against the counter when she goes to the back to place our order. I was going to order more food but the woman didn't appear for 20 minutes then I opted for just dessert. Still waiting, I had to stand up and look into the kitchen only to see the woman slumped against the wall chatting away once again. She finally comes over takes my order which by the way is nowhere anywhere near fried ice cream it was a melted Puddle of mush inside a fried Mass. I would never ever ever return to that place just to never see that woman's face again most rude customer service I've ever had! I'm assuming it's the same woman that all these other people had the experience with and I hope for the sake of the business owners, they fire her.

Without a doubt, the person who attended me was someone very friendly and cordial, excellent service. Its beautiful facilities were well illuminated, comfortable and elegant, on the food that I loved to feel the natural flavor of niguiris, with the touch of a soy sauce and delicious eel sauce, very sharp and excellent preparation. Value for quality, compliments to the chef
