Barakah Restaurant - Amber Valley

6adaults and 2 small grandchildren were in our party and everything was brilliant. I have always had 1st class food and service at this restaurant

I went to this restaurant for a curry, but there was no one inside. I was greeted by the same girl as last time, who was still not smiling. I wondered if she really wanted to be there. The food arrived and it was delicious, with just the right amount of heat. If the girl had been more welcoming, I would have given this place a 4 out of 5 rating.

After a lengthy visit, we stopped by this restaurant for a quick meal. The food was tasty and served quickly, but our order was incorrect and there were very limited drink options available as most items were out of stock. The server, a young woman, was a little abrupt as well. The food was enjoyable, but the restaurant lacked ambiance.

During our holiday, we enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. We visited on a Thursday night and took advantage of the 5-course meal offer for £12.95. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the staff provided pleasant service. The venue was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the option to bring our own alcohol. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

Driving through Belper early evening Friday and decided to stop off for a curry treat...and what a treat we got. At first, surprised there was no alcohol and it was a BYO but then that didnt matter. Service was very polite and courteous and the food was served promptly. The portions were very generous and the start portion of chicken pakora was massive and really delicious best I have EVER had!! We shall be dropping in here again as our go to curry house in Belper.
