The owner addressed the misunderstanding we had with the ordering service, and I truly appreciated that. I’m bumping my rating up from 3 to 5 stars. The food is phenomenal! We enjoyed dishes like Gnocchi, Bolognese, Ochsenschwanz Ragu, Caesar Salad, Arugula Salad, and Chicken Parmesan—everything was amazing. However, my experience with the staff didn’t quite leave me feeling warm and fuzzy. We ordered online for a Sunday meal, paid the card fees, and arrived to find the doors closed, with no notification about changed hours on any of their social media platforms. It was frustrating for our group of 8 hungry diners to not be served food.

The menu offered a variety of delicious dishes, with some outstanding specialties to choose from. The homemade pasta was fantastic, and the sauces were impressively fresh and creative. As a food enthusiast, I was amazed by how each dish that emerged from the kitchen looked incredible. I also overheard other diners praising their meals, which speaks volumes. Every dish we tried was fantastic, and the attentive service from our waitstaff — Dominic, Jennifer, and Sam — made the experience even better. They ensured we had everything we needed at all times. And I should mention that the restaurant is BYOB, which adds a fun element to the experience. They provided us with a wine glass for our beer, keeping it chilled, along with the right glasses for everything else. I highly recommend trying this restaurant; you won’t be disappointed!

When we settled the bill, there was a mix-up with the tip (our fault!), and the waiter returned to our table visibly annoyed. He questioned the service, but we assured him it was fine. Then he threw the bill on the table and claimed the tip should be higher than 10%! We apologized, explaining that we misunderstood, but he seemed upset. When we recalculated the tip, he returned to our table with his phone to inform us what the tip “should” be. In hindsight, we should have just left, but we did adjust the tip because he certainly didn’t earn 20%! We will definitely not be going back! Since then, we've heard from many others who also said they would never return. We really miss the Tavern in the village!

Service was good. Bread was excellent, crusty, warm. My friend's chicken dish was made beautiful. My dish had a good taste that was shrimp/scallops. It should come with Risotto, but I think it could have been rice. The avocado appetizer was ok, but the avocado was not peeled. Again, taste very good, but need a few minor improvements.

Food was delicious. It tasted fresh with quality ingredients. The service was very good. It's a nice comfortable place. We will definitely return to this fine neighborhood byob
