Spring House Tavern - AMBLER

I visited the Spring House Inn for a birthday celebration, but unfortunately, I was denied seating under an outdoor patio umbrella by the manager because their policy only allowed for two people per umbrella. Even though there were only two other guests on the patio, we were still not allowed to sit there at 12:15 pm. I was disappointed with the service and atmosphere, so I will not be returning. Overall, I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere at 1 out of 5 stars.

The Crab Bites came highly recommended, but I was disappointed with them as well as the crab cake sandwich. They had too much backfin and not enough lump. The chips were too hard and could use a little more salt. The service was good, with a rating of 5, as was the atmosphere. There was plenty of parking available in a free parking lot. The average price per person for lunch was between $20-30. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

My husband and I just left the restaurant about an hour ago. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely be returning. Our server, Sam, was fantastic.
