Novotel Amboise Restaurant

Had dinner at the restaurant, and the restaurant provided us with vegetarian options that included rice and vegetables. For dessert, we had tiramisu and that was super good.

The hotels in the middle of nowhere so this is why they have the restaurant however the staff does not care how they present the food to you. I was in a group and the meal they gave us look like they were cooking for...prisoners. When I address their presentation of their Beef Bergeron that they have served as the waiter caught an attitude and it was highly disappointing. The breakfast they served was no different. I asked for an omelette and all they gave me was to eggs scrambled with nothing in it. I wouldn’t recommend eating here at all.

Our tour stopped at the hotel and our dinner was scheduled at the hotel restaurant. Instead of having a menu choice, our group was served duck. Don't recall ever having duck previously, but it looked delicious enough to try. Was happy with the food and...service.

They have a great breakfast buffet that is very affordable (and kids are free Good food, good eating area and a great view.

Our return visit to the Amboise Novotel May May Our second visit to Amboise Novotel was a more enjoyable experience than our previous visit three weeks before. The reception staff were welcoming and the restaurant was open. Every member of staff...we came into contact with greeted us with a smile and bonjour, the reception staff, the barman, the waitresses, waiters and the cleaners all made us feel welcome. Our room was always clean and restocked daily with clean towels and water. The restaurant employees worked hard together to enable the restaurant to run efficiently. The food available at breakfast was regularly restocked. The evening staff work hard together to ensure all customers are attended to reasonably quickly. On busy evenings the waitresses, waiters and the barman worked together well to enable the delivery of meals to run smoothly. The menu is limited but the food was cooked well and nicely presented. The steak was delicious. The vegetables were varied and suitably cooked. One suggestion which we felt was good practice in the Novotel hotels in Limoges and Toulouse. The waiter in the previous hotels always welcomed us and took us to our seat. He/she then took our order for drinks. These were delivered with the bread and water. We were then asked for our choice for the meal. We have nothing but praise for the hard working staff at this hotel
