Restaurant l'Ilot - Amboise

We liked this restaurant so much we went back two nights in a row. The menu changed both nights. Delicious local produce, good value, great local wines. Staff professional and friendly.

We revived the restaurant. The food is delicious and fresh, traditional with a twist. The wine is top-notch and cheap. The space is beautifully cozy and old building. And the service was so warm and friendly. I'm so sorry the restaurant is a...plan drive because I wish I could eat here every week!

Been there a long time ago this small jewel had a table free when we emailed a week in advance. Through Covid they have only about 20 seats in an already small restaurant. The teams cooks in front of you and is producing amazing goods....We are ourself es through the whole menu as each course has two options perfect for couples The lab was one of the best I ever had. Taste was out of the world . And the sauce on the fish (coffee based !! was divine.

We ate as a couple here, which was just across the road from our hotel. The restaurant is small and intimate, and was well laid out for social distancing. The chef cooked the food in the middle of the restaurant and was quite a character;...the waitress was also very good. The food was superb local produce and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this place, but, particularly at the moment, must booked.We saw many people being turned away as they were fully booked when we went.

Incontournable pour son charme rustique, son intimité, sa cuisine excellente. Le chef cuisine au centre de la petite salle, entouré de quelques tables où les conversations ne sont pas partagées par les autres convives. On a le choix entre 2 entrées, 2 plats, 2 desserts, selon le marché. Les prix sont vraiment raisonnables pour une cuisine exceptionnelle.
