Feedback gevenWe stopped for lunch on our drive from Tropea to Matera and were surprised to have such excellent pasta. If you stop here, definitely try their house-made spicy condiment, caviale del pollino.
Reasonable food and prices with super friendly family service. Family-made rose wine and local amaro are worth to try. In an area with few restaurant choices in the off season, this is good for a break if traveling along the coastal road.
This place was on our radar because friends had been there before and we were not disappointed. The past dishes were all excellent and the vino and beer were top notch. It may look primitive from the outside and what may even appear as a truck stop however don’t be fooled. Top stuff and friendly service too
Back from the silano camomile, we found this pizzeria restaurant casually along our way. and it was a pleasant surprise. we were advised by the young and kind owner on the choice of dishes. his proposal was to let us taste a round of appetizers and typical Calabrian products: mpacchiuse potatoes, cut eggplants, cheese on the plate and porcini mushrooms, meat production with sausages now that we have discovered we will insert you as a mandatory stage when we are in those areas. We stopped with friends in this restaurant by chance. but nothing comes by chance because we are divinely divided. a disarming courtesy. the owner is a great restaurant that has been able to recommend the homemade dishes of a more unique goodness than rare. excellent homemade pasta with mushrooms and sausage. Mom, very pretty woman! It seemed to make the classic dinner at the grandmother's house that is known. Grandma cooks divinely. highly recommended. It's something extraordinary.
