We made a pit stop in this place on our way to the slopes and the staff was very welcoming. Our order was simple, two slices to go and I grabbed some drinks for our car ride. Per my kids, the pizza is excellent while their mouths are stuffed and sauce all over their cheeks. I stole a bite and found the sauce to be sweet. I liked it at first bite. Helps that I got the triangle part, ha ha! The pizza was saucy and the crust was still very soft ... Not burnt and no dark char. Which I actually prefer. Came at an off time (2:45pm) so it was not busy but I did see some folks ordering wraps and sandwiches. Their menu covers Italian fare and Dinner style entrees. Reasonable prices is a plus.
Called and ordered a pie and a sub. Asked for BBQ sauce on the sub. When I picked up the sub the counter person confirmed I wanted it on the sub. When I got home no BBQ sauce. I called and said hey, there was no BBq sauce. I was left on hold and then told it was on there . So, I was wrong, it vanished or evaporated on the way home along with the golden rule that the customer is always right, Happy Holidays Everyone! and ask for BBQ sauce on the side!!!!!!!!
Could be better. Pizza crust is tough and chewy. Ingredients are skimpy for the price. Most pizzas have ricotta cheese, maybe it's a cheaper cheese but it's not that tasty on pizza.
Originally came for the pizza, but with the massive menu, I could not decide. They do sell single slices to which they warm them to order. Once you smell that pizza though... game over. You are already drooling without even realizing it. I asked the server what he recommends and he instantaneously said Pasta Angelo . So, that 's what I went with. Boy, he did not lie. This dish does not disappoint. I do recommend not eating this for lunch, as it would most definitely hinder with your productivity. Secondly, it should probably say it feeds for 2 : So glad I found this lil ' hole in the wall!
Wow. Real Italian food in upstate New York! The chef prepared my veal parm plate from scratch and didn't just take one out of the cooler and deep fry it. How do I know? I heard him pounding the veal, then went over and saw him doing it. Then he lightly breaded the meat and then cooked it. Delish and perfect, every bite! I don't know about anyone else but when I find a place for a particular thing that's great, I never go anywhere else if I can help it. Santos is the real deal.
